Cooking up the jam

Making blackberry jam

As I do not have time to cook when I pick the fruit, I wash and prepare it as necessary and then freeze it. This is 2.5kg of blackberries, just under 2.5kg of sugar and a measure of lime juice, cooking down to make jam.

Here are the odd collection of jars, in the oven, cooling, having been thoroughly washed before hand and heated to 100c.
