I gave our Technology without Tears presentation tonight at the Positive Networking meeting in Peterborough. It was a great group to work with. There were challenging and engaging questions from them and a number made contributions that helped me get my points across.
Special mention has to go to Paul Wilson who was prepared to be the “guinea pig” as part of my presentation.
At Positive Networking tonight, Paul gave a short but energy filled presentation on why his social media training is the recipe for success.
I got a good look at Aero Evolution’s photo and video drone before tonight’s Positive Networking meeting in Lincoln.

Paul and I presented our “Making Technology Work for You” masterclass this afternoon. We covered various tools and apps for social media and demonstrated how OneNote can help produce quality content. There was plenty of “hands on” and opportunities for people to ask questions. We also had chocolate biscuits!
From people’s reaction after the event, it was a successful afternoon.
Watch out for our next workshop, which will be another practical guide to help your business with technology.
I am in Peterborough tonight for the Thursday version of Positive Networking. That’s the one held in the Manor House with the great buffet!
For a change I am sharing a box, at the Football Stadium today, with Nick from Hargreaves First Aid. It was good to have company whilst working, but he was doing an online first aid course which spent a lot of time talking about blood, wounds and bleeding – I did not have to look at the pictures!
I have spent my day working on presentation skills with other members of Positive Networking. The training was led by Keith Warren who really made us work hard examining what makes a good presentation and how we present. I had a really interesting breakout session with Keith and Adam from Through the Lens Photography where we worked on exploring different styles. It made both Adam and I think about what we say and how we say it.
If you want to gain great presentation skills then you should contact Keith and find out where and when you can hear him speak.
