It is a late night tonight as I am staying up to watch the American Football Super Bowl.
The game came complete with Madonna’s extravagant halftime show.

With plans in the future to walk the Southern Upland Way and the Speyside Way, I am planning to try and get a walk in every Sunday to keep my fitness levels up for the long distance walks. Most weeks it will simply be walking across the fields locally – as it is today.
All day the BBC news has been constantly talking about the coming snow. It started snowing and settling here about 5pm.
Walking to a job this morning I passed some conifer trees – what you cannot see in the photograph is that it was snowing quite hard at the time.

I have been working all day at a client’s office updating some of their server software – the first stage of a project we started planning last October. Everything went well except the client had no water (and so no coffee) due to a leaking pipe in the office next door!
I did get back to Branston to see the sunset in a cloudless sky.
