Kenmore folly


It was snowing heavily at 5am when I got up, so I cancelled the trip to Napier University. I made some tea and watched the snow through the patio windows.

It has been very windy today – enough to put waves on the loch.
I did get out and walk but because of the weather my plan to try out my new pocket stove did not happen.

Robert Burns wrote a poem about The Birks of Aberfeldy – there is this statue along the river, commemorating it.

This leaf was embedded in fractured ice.
