To avoid the hold ups on the A1 and A14 (a combination of road works, the start of the school holidays and planning by over qualified council employees!), I drove home via Sudbury, Thetford and Sleaford.
Around lunchtime I stopped in Thetford Forrest for a walk and to brew some tea.

Bread – door stop
This was the result of Kathy using yeast that was well past it’s “use by date”, the bread did not rise.
Rather than waste it, she has varnished it and is using it as a door stop!
