Falmouth
We are sitting in the car waiting for the rain to easy up and the thunder and lighting to stop. Inconveniently the thunder and lighting are occurring nearly simultaneously. Later we are planning to walk the Falmouth Coast Path.

We got the tents up – just after it had finished raining! The rest of the afternoon has been sunny and warm.
I saw the ultimate backpacking coffee machine today in Truro.
It comes with your own personal barista who, I am sure, would drive it along behind you as you walk! So not adding any extra weight to your backpack.

Following meetings in Lincoln I then had to go to Grantham to survey a small office network. Finding a car park space was a challenge – however on the way out of the car park I found my picture for the day.
I have spent the afternoon with Guitar George where we have been spending time using his recording suite. But whilst there he showed me his latest project.

The current show, StarShipSofa 308, is one of the best Tony Smith has every produced. It included a great sci-fi story with a talking cat, a fact article about Science Fiction Movie Soundtracks by David Raiklen and all through the show an in depth interview with Stanley Schmidt the former editor of Analog.
If the show had included the regular fact articles, Looking Back at Genre History by Amy H Sturgis and Science News by J J Campanella then it may have been getting near to perfect.
I download a lot of podcasts, and always have a backlog of staff to listen to, but when Tony publishes his show it goes to the top of the listening queue.
If you like science fiction then I really recommend this weekly podcast – try it and if you like it let Tony know.
