Walking to Glenmore
The weather was fine today so Jeremy and I set off to the “Squirrel Cafe”, following the Old Logging Trail.
When we got to the Squirrel Cafe – it would have been rude not to have gone in.
Squirrel Cafe = Glenmore Shop and Cafe.
The shop is built on a steep slope so the cafe, at the back of the shop overlooks the forest. The owners put out bird and squirrel food so there are always lots off birds to see and most times red squirrels, but not today.
Loch Morlich
We found somewhere right by the Loch for lunch.

Craigellachie National Nature Reserve
We had a short out to Craigellachie National Nature Reserve.
It was only a short walk as a heavy thunder storm rolled in – we made it back to the house without getting too wet.
We watched it from the patio but it did not last long.

Inverness pt2
We walked out along the Riverside Walk – heading out of Inverness along the banks and across the islands of the river heading towards Loch Ness.
Inverness pt1
It is not so sunny today – so we have come into Inverness, first for tea and cake and then to walk out along the River Ness.
