A bright frozen day today – the plan is to walk some of the Speyside Way.
The first part of the walk is straight out of Scandinavian Village and onto the Aviemore Village Orbital Path, so no road walking.
I am trying out the new boots today – Berghaus Trek Extreme GTX – below is a photo of them new and mud free.
I Drove out towards Tomintoul to visit friends today.

I am walking parts of the Great Glen Way and the Caledonian Canal today. Also it is time to buy some new boots!
The Great Glen Way makes its way out of Inverness along the river and across the Ness Islands.
Not many photos today, too grey and wet. I did get some boots.
It rained whilst I was walking but in a “good way”!
The small loch was almost frozen over.
