Bude

So I headed to my favourite bit of coast near to Woodford Bridge to make some sunny photographs. The heavy waves and back lot spray was a bonus. As was yet again having the whole beach to myself.

Another trip another storm – having weathered Storm Betty and Storm Babet – now it is Storm Debi. I missed Storm Ciarán.
The wind was gusting up to 50mph – so I kept away from the edge. The weather was so bad I abandoned the planned walk after less than an hour. Holding the camera still enough for the photos was a challenge.

It was raining on and off but I headed for a quiet bit of the coast for some walking as Sunday and Monday look to be the best days.

Yet again I attempted to photograph the sea arch at the Strangles beach – I got nearer this time but the rocks were far too wet to scramble over.

Less sun and blue sky than I expected! Which meant I found a comfortable spot to wait for the sea fog to burn off, brew some tea, read my book, have lunch, more tea etc. the sea fog did not burn off.

Some different rock photos.

For some of the day I had no phone signal only Apple’s Satelite SOS service.
