Caught in a spider’s web
I really like this new version of Camera+. It is easy to get the right exposure and focus point for the image you are looking to create. The controls are well thought out and available quickly when needed.
And if you miss, then there is always Lightbox and “The Lab” to crop and tweak your images.

I used to use Camera+ a lot but drifted back to the built in camera app, when it changed in iOS 6 and 7. Now with the latest Camera+ I am back to using it as my go to camera on my iphone.
My two top features:
- Macro setting that really works – see here
- Wheel control for exposure compensation with live view
… and check out the Clarity feature.

Stolen from the squirrels

There was a chestnut tree where I parked today so I picked up some of the windfalls to take home and roast. Whilst I was doing this there were several squirrels in the trees around me, watching!

Close up bee photos using my iPhone
There were plenty of bees today on the ivy bush in the garden, to make a good “photo of the day”.
Today there are three photos as I could not choose between them.
These shots were made using my iPhone 5 and the Camera+ app, set to macro mode. It works very well when you get in close to your small subject.
I am very pleased with these photos.
