To beat the weather I got to Scandinavian Village before check in, so leaving my car at the centre I went for a walk near Aviemore.
To get away quickly this morning I had a pot of tea for breakfast whilst loading the car – so here is the required cook breakfast photograph – all good trips include a full English but in this case it is a full Scottish!
After checking out this morning I walked down to the Loch side and shot this using the panorama function on the Apple camera app.
I headed off after this to drive from Kenmore to Aviemore – the road conditions were interesting, there was a car that skidded off into a ditch, and it snowed hard, until I was almost at the A9 where things became a lot easier.

I drove into Aberfeldy today – my car has sat in the car park since Saturday at minus temperatures so I thought I had better de-ice it. I also needed to get a reliable phone signal as my iPhone SIM had developed a fault and I needed T-mobile to fix it. This also meant I could get a latte and walk out to the Birks of Aberfeldy just outside the village.
