St. John the Baptist, Ermine, church was designed by the architect Sam Scorer – the roof is a hyperbolic paraboloid.

This year is the fiftieth anniversary of the consecration of the church.

Lincoln City Football Club has planted a new pitch for the next football season. They did it about a month ago and it is looking good.

They were watering it this morning.

I have seen this crane working in Lincoln for a couple of weeks – and this morning there was an opportunity to photograph it extending above the buildings.
