Walking – Lauder
Having been on the phone early for work and the weather looking wet and grey, I decided to walk the local paths around Lauder.
Eventually the rain sent me back for coffee and then back to the campsite.

I have been working all day at Jeremy’s flat on his laptop. Last week, one of our suppliers failed to complete their part of a project on time, so I had to complete the Octagon part today. We will deliver the work to the client on schedule. It took all day as I also had to write a manual as I went along, so Jeremy did my shopping and provided lunch and dinner. But I did get the job done.
When I got back to the campsite, I knew rain was on the way, I’d driven through it, so I quickly settled into my tent.
It is now gently raining on the tent and time for some tea and a book.
Time to take Jeremy back to Herriot Watt. We stopped off at Lauder Campsite to put my tent up, then went on to his flat and now we are having a sandwich in a cafe in The Grassmarket.

Dingwall Campsite
We had been camped here for eight nights – so we left our marks! A couple of days of sun and rain should fix it.
The MX-5 is not big enough for two to go camping, so we need some extra luggage room. The boot bag fits securely and adds 50l of extra space.
