I am off to Scotland tomorrow, camping. As I am dropping Jeremy off at Herriot Watt University, on the way, I need some extra luggage room for the MX-5. So my tent, food, sleeping gear and a few other bits of gear are going into the 50l Boot Bag.

Last day today – Edinburgh for lunch tomorrow and then back to Lincoln. Time for one more walk, early morning at Loch Morlich and Glen More. I took my coffee with me in a flask and a couple of croissants.
It was bright and below zero and despite the mild weather this week the edges of the Loch were frozen.

I got a train into Inverness today, for some present shopping and geocaching.
One of the geocaches led me to a landmark I’d not seen before – The General’s Well – even though we regularly walk this footpath.
