Aviemore
Having arrived in Aviemore this morning and unpacked, I went for a short walk even though it was raining. I headed out towards the Logging Path to find that parts of the woods where I regularly walk are flooded.

Dunbar
It is time to go home – but there was time for a walk around Dunbar Harbour…
…and to get some breakfast.

Travel Day
On my way to Dunbar
I left the Skye campsite just after 7am having taken less than 15 minutes to pack up – the rain helped me hurry!
Again I decided to stop along the road somewhere for breakfast – with a view.

Above is where I stopped for lunch
When I got to Dunbar it was warm and sunny – so I have a chance that my tent and gear will dry out. I still pitched away from the view as experience on this site says the wind blows in from the sea.

I am on my way to Dunbar, today, via Fort William and Perth. The road from Kyle to Fort William was very dramatic – the weather just added that little be extra to the view.
