I had an article to write for Octagon today. The weather was good so rather than sit in the office and write it I went for a walk to a suitable rock where I knew I could sit and work.
Unfortunately the clouds came over and it eventually rained. At least I still had coffee.
I got the article done as well.

Rain and near freezing conditions meant no coffee on this walk and back home sooner than I had planned.

Unsurprisingly I did not see anyone else out walking the fields on such a day – including dog people!
I went from the village on loop out towards the airfield.
I was wrong – I did take a few more snow photos.

To save time on the walk, I made the coffee at the office and took it with me in a thermos mug. For a snack dry wheaties in a small pot from my bento box – with the view below.

It was starting to get windy and cold.

I took the afternoon off and went for a walk. The whole time I was out it looked like it was going to rain but I trusted in the Apple weather app. Click on the images for larger versions.

There was coffee of course!

I got up as the sun rose and got some great winter photographs.
