With a good day forecast and temperatures of 12c – I went for a walk along the coast at Findhorn.
I found a convenient post to sit on for lunch and to act as a wind break from the stiff sea breeze for my alcohol stove. Lunch was an award winning haggis and chicken pie from a baker in Forres, an apple and coffee with cream.

Windermere

The lake side footpath I was following was flooded in several sections – mainly by the strong winds driving the water into the path.

Pine Lake Sunrises and Sunsets

Whenever I stay at Pine Lake there are always great sunrises and sunsets – not every day but many of the days.
I set off early from Pine Lake to head to Aviemore – time for one last photo.

Another favourite walk – it starts and finishes at my house in Scandinavian Village.

Walking today

The university lecture videos are up today and work has been on the phone. As time was short, I went for a walk around the lake here for a break at lunchtime.
